Beautiful Bridesmaids

God has our life planned from the beginning and he has truly blessed me with life long girlfriends that have come along through my crazy life just at the right moments! I do have so many great friends that I wish I could have had them all in my wedding but the chapel could hold only so many. :)

The Friday (3/22) before the wedding Janet Amos, Emily Amos, Taylor Swann Gates, and Lavenia Swann hosted the most beautiful Bridesmaids Luncheon at Moores Mill Country Club. Taylor and her Mama did the flower arrangements and they were so beautiful! They fit the theme of the wedding perfectly!

Mrs. Janet and her family asked me a while back if they could host the bridesmaid luncheon as a wedding gift to us. Only my momma and Taylor knew how stressed I was about the Bridesmaid Luncheon because I didn't know where I was going to have it and what I was going to do. When Mrs. Janet told me they wanted to do this for me, it answered a huge prayer request. It is so amazing how God has had his hand on this wedding and allowed everything to fall into place.  The Amos Family is very special to me and I feel like I'm a part of their family. I babysat Parker and Emily for ten years and always enjoyed spending time chatting it up with Mrs. Janet and Mr. Peter. This is one good looking family. Parker and Emily were both in the wedding and they were gorgeous! Watch out girls and guys, you will have to go through me before you can date either one, not to mention Mr. Peter and Mrs. Janet!

I couldn't have made it without them and Taylor during the wedding weekend. They helped me out in more ways than they could possibly ever know! Taylor was with me every step of the wedding process and she never once complained at helping me out. She went to my final fitting, helped with ordering gifts, and drove my car to the hotel the night of the wedding. The list of what she did could go on and on.

Now, for my bridesmaids. They came from all over just to spend the weekend with me and celebrate our marriage. Have I told you how blessed I am? My matron of honor, Lindsey, didn't travel far but she is one friend I can depend on to listen to me complain about something. My maid of honor, Jessica, drove all the way from Tennessee. She was one best friend that put everything on hold last minute to be a part of the wedding party. Elyse drove from Florida and left two kids with grandparents so she could spend time with us. Tammy flew all the way from Texas! This is my college best friend that went through the crazy and stressful education program with me. I wouldn't have made it without her. Mariglenn came all the way from Birmingham and took off of her internship and was so sweet to help at every event of the wedding weekend. My brother is a lucky fella. Britni, my amazing cousin, flew with my amazing Aunt Wanda and Uncle William all the way from New Hampshire! Britni was a lifesaver in making the beautiful flower girl hair pieces and the burlap pew bows. Chelsey, Blake's sister, through a super fun baked goods shower for us and took time from her crazy major as an engineer. Emily Amos was my junior bridesmaid and she kept me calm the entire wedding day because with her just sitting by me and giving me her full attention showed how much she loves me. She will always be my best bud!

The best parts about the luncheon was spending time with my girls, watching the sweet flower girls meet for the first time, and just enjoying an afternoon of laughter and no stress. I love how everyone made it to the luncheon. It definitely made my heart smile. I also loved how Mrs. Celeste, Aunt Wanda, Mrs. Linda, and Mrs. Gayle were able to attend as well. My bridesmaids are blessed with great mommas!

My sweet cousin, Chelsea. Isn't she precious?

The flower girls meet for the first time! They hit it off so well!

Aren't they precious? I am so proud of them!

Southern Love,
Tricia
