Chloe's 1st Birthday

I'm so behind on blogging. I just don't see how working mamas keep up with everything! Sophie and I had a blast at Chloe's first birthday party. Sophie loved playing with the tissue paper while Chloe unwrapped her gifts. We had a wonderful time Labor Day celebrating sweet Chloe and spending time with all of our special friends. It was truly a fun and enjoyable day! Natalie did a fantastic job in making the day extra special for her little girl and it is going to be hard to live up to all of these creative first birthday parties!

8 Months and Going Strong!

Little Miss Sophie has had a lot happen this past month. She has two little white bottom teeth and is chewing on everything she can get in her mouth. :) She said her first words such as "bye-bye" and "dada." We still aren't getting "mommy" or "mama" but I'm trying everyday! She loves to tell me all about her day when I pick her up and love to see her face light up when I walk through Mrs. Sherry's door.

Sophie continues to do "touchdown" and now loves to clap and wave "bye bye" or "hello." She is also crawling! She'll slowly take about four crawls and then sits up to give herself a few claps. When we get ready to go night night, she'll now sit herself completely upright from a laying position to keep from falling asleep. She is a night owl like her daddy. :)

She's a little entertainer during Wednesday night church suppers and everyone stops at our table to tell Sophie, "Hello." She loves to observe and watch people go by and boy can she give some looks (not quite sure where that came from). She doesn't miss a beat. She's always watching and reminds me everyday that I need to set a positive and uplifting example of a Godly woman. She's such a sweet baby and I'm so blessed to be her mommy. I can't wait for 3:30 to come so I can hop in my car and pick her up from daycare so we can play and have lots of snuggles.

It's getting harder and harder to take pictures of my busy girl.
