Sophie's 1st Christmas

Nothing is ever the same once you have a child. Christmas is even more fun and crazy! We had a wonderful Christmas and so blessed to be able to celebrate with both families over the holidays. I love how both our families live in town. It makes traveling less stressful and the holidays that much more special.

We spent Christmas Eve at my parents' house. We went to the Christmas Eve service at FBCO and then celebrated with a yummy meal and opened presents.

Then we stayed at our house Christmas Eve so that Santa could come see Sophie. We had to wake her up so that she could see what all Santa brought her! Dada was very excited!

Then we got ready and spent Christmas Day with Blake's family. It was a wonderful and stress free holiday! I love seeing the joy of Sophie enjoying her gifts and playing with all of the tissue paper.

Baby Dedication

We dedicated sweet Sophie to Lord on November 16, 2015 at the 9:45 service at First Baptist Church of Opelika. She was so sweet up on stage and loved waving "bye-bye!" My prayer is to always rely to God for guidance in raising her and knowing that He will love her more than I'll ever know. She's truly a miracle to us and an everyday blessing! We enjoyed a wonderful day of celebrating her with lunch at the country club. Then we celebrated Aunt Chelsey with her first wedding shower! We had a very busy but beautiful day!
