Celebrating 11 months this Christmas!

Sophie turned 11 months on December 17th and this by far has been the best Christmas season. I can't imagine what Mary went through as she gave birth to our Lord and Savior in a stable. Even more how she watched her son die for our salvation. What a hardship went through for our unfailing sins.

This month milestone has been full of wonders for Sophie. She loves to dance to "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and singing "Frosty the Snowman" usually calms her down. I should know all the words by now but I don't, ha. She loves saying, "hahaha" when asked what Santa says. She is a sponge soaking in everything we all do in this world and I'm reminded of that every day. She loves to chew on everything and wishing those top teeth would come on through...

I'm enjoying my christmas vacation watching her grow and teaching her new tricks to share with others. She loves to go shopping with mama and waves at everyone we pass by in the aisles or while going out to eat. She puts a smile on everyone's face that notices her waving and speaking. She doesn't let her spirit down when someone doesn't notice her...she just keeps on waving until someone does notice. She looks at me when they don't notice and I just tell her, "It's okay sweet girl. He/She is just too busy right now and didn't see you. Maybe we can make someone else smile today by your sweet wave and smile." Love this girl more than words can describe!

She standing more but still not ready to walk....no rush because she gets around just fine on all fours. I'm learning how quickly now she can scoot from one room to another. :) She also loves to play, "peek-a-boo" or more like "Where's Sophie?"

Time Slow Down! Sophie is 10 Months!

I just can't believe how fast time is going by this year with Sophie. She has changed so much in these past ten months and so quickly! I don't mind the school year flying by, but not my time with my sweet girl. My baby is growing up too fast! I can't believe she'll be one in less than a month and a half!

Sophie is on the move!! She isn't walking but her balance is getting better everyday. She'll stand by herself for around 5 seconds before she either falls or she sits herself back down. She loves to talk! She is saying "mama" a lot more these days, especially in the backseat of the car when she isn't a happy camper, haha. She tries to repeat words after me most of the time and it is so sweet. She is still working on those top teeth. She is a happy baby with a sweet spirit, even when she pulls Mama's hair and earrings. She loves to eat macaroni cheese and ham! She has a really funny Alabama football trick she does most of the time and it cracks up even the Alabama fans. :) She is truly a blessing to everyone she meets. Love her so much!
