Blake and I had the best time getting our families together to reveal the gender on Saturday August 17th at the country club. It was hilarious! We told everyone they would find out through cupcakes and the whole time they couldn't contain their excitement. When it was finally time to find out the gender with the cupcakes, Blake and I had another secret to reveal. We had the baker make both pink and blue cupcakes to make everyone think we were having twins or really just to confuse them more. Ha! The silence and the expressions on their faces were priceless. After we let them worry for a few seconds, I pulled out a birth cloth with "baby tiger" in hot pink! We were happy to announce that we are having a precious little girl named, Sophia Opal, and we'll call her Sophie.
Sophia is a name both Blake and I fell in love with and he really got excited over that name. Opal is from my dad's mother. She passed away in June of 1997 and will always be a part of who I am today. I was very close to both my grandparents but I do resemble my grandmother a lot and wouldn't change it for anything! Naming babies is really tough and Blake took it very seriously.
