I wouldn't have been able to give such a fun and laid back shower if it wasn't for these fabulous ladies-my Momma, Carol Ann, Abby, and Taylor! Carol Ann and Abby brought the paper products. Abby helped me finish cooking. Momma made the cutest cups, straws, photo booth, cupcake toppers and decorations. Taylor planned the games and made a delicious punch (pineapple lemonade). I just organized, cooked the food, and of course was the photographer (unless I'm in the picture than it was the amazing Abby!).
I definitely vote this shower the most laid back and relaxing shower. I learned more things about having a baby than I wanted too but it is preparing me for the future (far far future). I loved how we can all act "crazy" around each other and no one cares about what you're wearing or if the the guest of honor shows up 15 minutes early. Ha! The best part is that Emilee's momma drove all the way from her hometown to surprise her! The pictures below pretty much sums up the tears, laughter, and craziness of the evening.
Emilee-thanks for letting me be a part of this amazing journey! I can't wait to hold and meet baby bean when he arrives in May! We are praying for a strong, healthy, and full of your personality baby. Love you lots bestie!
Goofing around while waiting on the guest of honor!
Surprise!
Do you think she was surprised?

Taylor is learning but she may need more practice before baby Gates comes in October! Taylor also had another fun game in which involved a Question/Answer time about what new moms need to know or want to know. I learned a lot and have never laughed that much before in my life! We also had the clothespin baby game and well...Abby won that one! :) She ended up with pretty much all of the clothespins for the evening.
