Williams Family Shower

My Memaw A (Opal W. Adams) passed away in June of 1997. She will forever and always be a part of me. I am blessed beyond measure to have been given just some of her amazing traits of character and thick hair. Memaw A was one that could hold a family together, even if there is a feud going on. She is one amazing woman that is missed dearly here on Earth. My grandfather never remarried and I know why-he found his true love and never needed anyone to replace that feeling.

My Memaw A's side of the family (9 brothers and sisters plus cousins, cousins and more cousins) gave Blake and me a His and Hers Shower on Sunday, January 27th from 2-4pm. My cousins Jack and Bobbie live on 12,000+ acres of land and we always love to go visit them early. You are never bored with horseback riding, sitting on the back porch, and walking the dirt roads. I love spending time down there! It is so peaceful and allows you to truly clear your mind.

The shower was absolutely beautiful! We were given beautiful gifts and the food was amazing. I did pretty well on remembering family names but it isn't easy with so many of them. They don't like to take pictures as you will see below. :) I can tell you that every one of them LOVED my grandmother and think about her all the time. She never turned a stranger away. Blake and I both really enjoyed this shower and I am truly blessed to have such an amazing extended family.

I got to dip the strawberries. :)

We made a new friend-Our Joe (Heeler). It was hard to leave him because he's so stinking cute!

Fruit Salad is always better with whipping cream! (Bobbie)

 Tea Cakes

 Beautiful Arrangement!

Southern Love,
Tricia
