Kenneth and I met up in Boston and then took a rental car to Uncle William and Aunt Wanda's home. Their home is gorgeous and it was so nice to have home cooked meals! We loved spending time with them and with our sweet cousins Britni and Chelsea. It is amazing how much Chelsea has grown since the wedding and she was quite the talker! I enjoyed every minute with them! We had a wonderful weekend full of sight seeing, lobster, and catching up with the family.
Kenneth and Chelsea were the best of friends the entire weekend. He didn't go anywhere without her holding his hand or being toted. It was precious! I wish they lived closer but it is was beautiful visiting them.
We spent all day Saturday driving around Maine and seeing all the sites. We even ate at this hole in the wall restaurant that had a yummy lobster roll. Kenneth was right when he said, "Once you eat lobster in Maine, you will never really appreciate it anywhere else. It just isn't the same." I was amazed by how much lobster we actually got for the price it cost. We ended Saturday evening watching of course the first Auburn home game of the season. I didn't see the entire game because I was wiped out.

Sunday was another fun day. We took a boat ride on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. We had a brunch on board and enjoyed looking at the beautiful scenery for the 2 1/2 hours. I really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful lake homes located on all of the islands. It was so neat to learn that during the winter the lake freezes so well that homeowners snow mobile on the lake. That evening Britni, Kenneth and I went to downtown Portsmouth and had a great time! It was great spending time with those two laughing and sharing our future.
Monday was just a day of travel. Aunt Wanda cooked us a huge southern breakfast before we headed to the airport. We went early since this preggo lady is slow these days, ha. The flight home was not near as fun and I was glad to land in Atlanta. I was also so glad to see my husband as I rode up the escalator to claim my bag. I sure did miss him and wish he could have gone with us. He would have enjoyed it!
Thanks so much for hosting us Uncle William, Aunt Wanda, Britni, and Chelsea. I had an absolute wonderful time and can't wait to visit you all again! I'm sure next time I will have a little Sophie in tow. She was much easier to tote this go around. Ha!
Southern Love,
Tricia
